The Civil Engineering department in Nonthaburi was one of the oldest pioneering engineering schools when the department first started as a carpenter school in 1941. In 2015 it was called the department of Civil Engineering. In 2016 the Civil Engineering program was established.
The courses provide opportunities for students who want to study for a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering. The courses equip the students with excellent knowledge and competencies in civil engineering. The duration of this program is 2 years. Students will undertake engineering courses which deal with concepts in mathematics, science, and fundamental engineering principles.
This is followed by a mixed yet balanced core of courses in civil engineering discipline. The courses include Basic Theory of Structures, Geotechnical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Engineering Drawing & Measurement, Structural Analysis, Concrete Design, and Steel Structures. The department will tailor to the student, so they are able to pursue a career relating to planning, designing and construction of buildings, water resources management, surveys, and computer aided drawing (CAD).
