Orientation for International Students of Academic Year 2024
On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, Assistant to the President, Miss Wanida Wongbannakhom, representing the President of Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, presided over the opening ceremony of the Orientation for International Students of academic year 2024. She gave a speech to the new students from the People's Republic of China and also served as a guest speaker on the topic "Adapting to the university environment, services, and welfare provided to international students". Mr.Thanathorn Chongsiritithisak, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration and Information Technology, Nonthaburi Campus, also gave a welcoming speech. The ceremony was attended by Mr.Chalerm Khun-iad, Vice President of the University, Nonthaburi Campus; Dr. Samphan Suksai, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts; and Assistant Professor Dr. Thongchai Arunchai, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education. During the morning session, there was a special lecture titled "Sharing experiences of studying for a master's and doctoral degree in Thailand, an overview of Thai culture, and life planning for students in Thailand" by Mr. Zhao Guoxiang, Director of the ASEAN Chinese Testing International Service Center (Thailand). In the afternoon, there were activities to build relationships among the new students, led by Mr. Ruangsin Pluempan from the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Mr. Nattawat Mudpetch from the Faculty of Business Administration and Information Technology. These activities aimed to break the ice and create familiarity among the students. The event took place at the Chompupoonphit Conference Room and the Smart Language Lounge, Building 17, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, Nonthaburi Campus (North).
